Cedric M Masondo

Cedric Masondo was appointed as Managing Director in July 2011 and prior to the appointment he was the Executive Manager: Underwriting for the period July 2009 to June 2011.

Prior to Sasria he was with Alexander Forbes Cre8 for three years and was responsible for all Public Enterprise business. He has extensive experience in the insurance industry; he has been in the insurance industry for nineteen (19) years.

He started his career at Allianz Insurance as a trainee and has gained experience on various aspects of short terms insurance both locally and internationally.

Currently Masondo oversees the functioning of the Insurance Operations Division. This division is responsible for claims management, underwriting management, ie pricing, drafting policy wordings and underwriting procedures, and management of reinsurance.

Karen Pepler

Karen Pepler was appointed as Financial Director in July 2011 and prior to this appointment was seconded to Sasria Limited as the Acting Managing Executive for the period April 2010 to June 2011.

Prior to Sasria she was with Deloitte and Touché Special Services Group from 2005. She has consulting experience in various industries such as the insurance, mining, transport, pharmaceutical and the media industry.

As a Financial Director at Sasria she is responsible for managing finance, investments, strategy, strategic projects, information technology and facilities.

Thokozile C Ntshiqa

Thokozile Nthsiqa was appointed as an Executive in April 2007, at the time she headed the Business Operations Divion, she joined Sasria as a Senior Claims Controller.

She has been in the industry for twelve (12) years, eight (8) of which with Sasria. She started her career at Mutual and Federal and has worked for various insurance companies. The stakeholder management division has three departments ie Customer Relations, Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Social Investments. The division is responsible for developing and maintaining relations with all stakeholders, keeping abreast with industry developments, product and brand awareness, corporate communications and ensuring that the company gains mileage out of Corporate Social Investments initiatives.

Nomsa G Wabanie

Nomsa Wabanie was appointed as an Executive Manager: responsible for Company Secretary, Legal and Compliance role in 2006. She joined Sasria from ABSA Bank; she has ten (10) years working experience in the financial sector. She is currently responsible for Human Capital Management, Risk Management, legal and Compliance and Transformation (Governance).
